This workout is not for the faint of heart! Some of the ideas behind the design include:

Golden Section Theory: logo design

Logomark: reflects the concept of shredding (the hurricane/Cuisinart blade spinning), intensity, and metabolic increase

Colors and fonts support the Men's Health brand and the imagery reflects the hardcore nature of the workouts.
